ABOUT TATYANA DUNLOP

A classically trained pianist from the age of seven, Tatyana graduated in 1989 from Sydney College of Advanced Education with a Bachelor of Music Education and is an accredited teacher with the Australian Music Teacher’s Association (AMTA)

During her studies, Tatyana began to perform in various jazz ensembles and rock bands and began writing music.

Teaching piano, musicianship and theory for 25 years, Tatyana has established a reputation as an accomplished music teacher. Her experience in preparing students for AMEB and HCS examinations is exceptional and her tutorials are in great demand

Tatyana has written musicals for primary schools here in Sydney and for a Korean Performing Arts group. She has also presented a number of public performances of her compositions at public concerts and at Cultural, Art and Film Festivals.

In addition to writing her own music she writes scores and arranges music for other musicians. She has accompanied many during their performances including:‘Radio Incontro Musicale’ for 98.5 FM in Leichardt, 2006; Music & poetry book launch of Bosco dell’anima by Italian musician Peter Bune’s at the institute of Italian Culture, 2010; The Book launch of ‘Versi e Colori’ by Santo Crisafulli, 2010.

Every year Tatyana takes on a limited number of students, teaching piano, musicianship and composition.
